General Membership Meetings


The Alliance meets four times during the school year, generally in October, January, March, and May. We encourage members, as well as Montessorians across NYS, regardless of member status, to come together as a community.

General meetings typically begin with a tour of our host school, followed by networking. The Board of Trustees and representatives from our various committees and workgroups report on ongoing work to advance NYSMA’s mission. As guest speakers, leading educators, policy makers, and thought leaders share insights into current trends and issues facing Montessori schools and teachers.

Remote Attendance

Representing the entire State of New York, the Alliance recognizes that it’s not always practical to join us in person. In response, we provide the option of videoconferencing. If you are interested in remote participation in our next meeting, please contact us.
